Research Interest: Molecular Ecology and Phylogenetics
CAO Gongyuan is an undergraduate student at School of Life Sciences, Peking University. With an interest in evolution and mammals, he joined our lab in the September of 2016. He has participated in a project to resolve the taxonomic status of a mysterious turtle population in southern China that is likely derived from hybridization between Beale's eyed turtle and the four-eyed turtle. Now he is learning how to do research systematically, from literature search to scientific writing.
